about us
The Hale Carnival, based in Upper Hale, Farnham, Surrey, is held on the first Saturday in July every year. The carnival is run by an amazing group of people from the local community. The carnival is paid for through stall sales on Carnival Day, fundraising and grants. The committee meets monthly to organise fundraising events and the main carnival event. Surplus money raised, we donate back to the community, this picture below is from the 2023 presentation evening.

NEW - Hale Carnival 2025
The Hale Carnival Committee is thrilled to announce that despite challenges faced in 2024, the Carnival was once again a success, allowing the Committee to donate £7,000 to local schools, charities, and community organisations. This brings the total donations made by the Hale Carnival to nearly £90,000 since its inception. The announcement was made at the Committee’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on September 25th, 2024.
Sara Lee, outgoing Chair of the Hale Carnival Committee, extended heartfelt thanks to the entire Carnival team, their families and friends who continuously support the event. Their dedication has ensured the smooth running of the event year after year, contributing both time and effort to bring the Carnival to life. Sara expressed her pride in the strong sense of community spirit the event fosters and the impact it has had in supporting local causes for over two decades.

A new committee is now in place and planning the 2025 Carnival event.
